(A review of The Island)I sort of thought this was going to be a suspense movie with the plot unfortunately revealed in the trailer. It actually is an "on-the-run" action movie. Better than I expected, but one stunt (you'll know it when you see it) is ridiculous.

Symbolism???

(A review of V for Vendetta (Two-Disc Special Edition))I think there was a lot of symbolism in this movie that I didn't get, otherwise I probably would have gave it 4 stars. I was also disappointed in the ending. It's not bad. It just didn't kick. Still I liked the movie.

Unneccessary Remake

(A review of The Pink Panther (Special Edition))Steve Martin has some funny moments, but this movie should never have been made. Not all remakes are a good idea. The originals with Peter Sellars will stand the test of time.
